This is shoot number five for this family. I've been photographing little Layla (big sister below) since she was a perfect little baby bump:). Layla was on my babies first year plan and during that year...along came her adorable baby sister Coby. So, this session was intended on being Layla's 12 month shoot but with a newborn session for their family last fall, we decided to postpone and make it her 23 month shoot.
And let me tell you...at 23 months and the busy toddler that Layla has grown into, she had very little time for me and my camera, lol. It's a good thing that I learned very early on in this business of working with toddlers that sometimes (more like always), you just need to accept the way they feel and JUST LET THEM BE. And from there...the most beautiful and true to life images are born.
